Apartment Crew

After JBS Cactus Beef Plant lost a good portion of its work force in 2007, there was a huge need to recruit people to keep the Cactus facility running. The recruiting teams traveled all over the United States, hiring team members to keep the facility staffed, but as soon as the new team members arrived, they had to face a lack of housing in Moore County.

That’s what sparked the idea of building their own apartment complex to provide housing solutions for our team members in order to help run our facility. In 2014, the facility decided to change the management of the complex from a third party company to an onsite team. The JBS Apartment Crew took over management of the 156 unit complex and have maintained occupancy levels above goal week over week. On a daily basis, the crew is responsible for preparing any recently vacated apartments for new tenants, preventative and repair maintenance to any of the units, lawn care, trash pickup and disposal.

The JBS Cactus Apartment Crew goes the extra mile by taking care of issues as they come up. The crew is on call to respond at any time day or night to provide assistance, and also helps with auto repairs, calling and scheduling appointments of all kinds, assistance with transportation to doctor appointments, helping with paperwork that must be done online, online banking help, etc.
