In 2018, the Pilgrim’s Douglas, GA, complex sponsored “Eight Keys to a Better Me,” a character development book designed to teach young children about traditional values like honesty, respect, patriotism and kindness. With the support of Pilgrim’s Douglas team members, the book was given free of charge to elementary schools throughout Coffee County – helping enable the local youth to better develop their personal life and leadership skills, value public service and gain a sense of community and ownership.
