Since 2014, the JBS Australia Caroona feedlot has supported various events hosted by the Spring Ridge Development Committee, including their annual Christmas Chocolate Wheel BBQ held at the local Spring Ridge Public School. In the past, funds raised through the barbeque were used to help install new lights at the sporting ground and support the beautification of Spring Ridge through the addition of trees and mulch. In 2018, the Caroona team donated product to the committee and volunteered to cook for the barbeque. The feedlot’s continued participation in these events helps demonstrate its value to the broader community.
